Kamea Dance Company

Kamea Dance Company was founded on a joined initiative of Daniella Schapira, at the time director of Bat Dor Beer Sheva Dance School, and Tamir Ginz who was the resident choreographer at Bat Dor Dance Company in Tel Aviv.
The initial ensemble started rehearsing in October 2002 and the premiere performance took place in Tel Aviv Suzanne Dellal Dance Center in May 2003. The first program was entitled “Secret Garden” as was Ginz’s creation for the evening. On the program was also Lior lev’s “The lightness of weight”.
