Evgenii Surmin

Evgenii Surmin was born in Orenburg, Russia, in 1999.

At the age of 13, he took his first steps into the world of dance, exploring a variety of styles including folk dance, tap, and commercial dance until the age of 19.

In 2018, he began his studies at the Moscow State University of Culture. During his studies, he joined the independent dance company BDDC in 2020.

In 2022, he earned a degree in Contemporary Choreography and moved to Israel to study at The Dancers’ Training Program (“Maslol”) at Bikurei Ha’Itim in Tel Aviv, under the direction of Niv Marinberg and Ofir Dagan.

In 2024, Evgenii joined the Ballet Company of Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, Germany, as an apprentice. He later became a company member and worked there as a professional dancer until 2026.

In August 2026, he joined Kamea Dance Company as a Dancer.
