We bring our highly acclaimed "Carmina Burana" back to the stage in May 24. Due to international demand Ginz is revisiting the choreography to create a new adventure, an updated extravaganza. New costume design by Aviad Arik Herman and lighting by Shay Yehudai promise that Carmina Burana 2024 will be more exciting than ever!

On Thursday, March 7, at the Mishkan for Performing Arts in Be'er Sheva & Last Tuesday, March 12 at Suzanne Dellal Center in Tel Aviv we celebrated the premiere show "White Face" by Tamir Ginz, the company's artistic director and choreographer, and the spectacular masterpiece "GNAWA" by Nacho Duato (Spain), one of the most important international choreographers of our time. The show was highly praised! Along with the enthusiastic viewers who filled the hall to capacity, many dignitaries arrived...

Our new evening will premiere in March 2024, "White Face", an evening shared by Tamir Ginz and Nacho Duato. Ginz shares his thoughts on the process and premiere: "I was drawn to explore the relationship between the offender and the victim, where the boundaries blur and cause one person to hurt another person, even with the power of words alone...

We are excited to announce that rehearsals have begun all over the country for the project "Dancing Kamea Repertoire 24" led by "Virtuoz" (Vir2oz) which is directed by producer Uzi Nissim. Seven leading studios in Israel were elected to devote this year's curriculum for an annual work process learning repertoire from the works of artistic director Tamir Ginz.

In the shadow of the war that forced on Israel, we are determined to bring back routine to Israeli life, now that Israel is made safe again. We, at Kamea Dance Company, feel that we must infuse people through art with the spirit of hope and allow the public in Israel to find a breathing space and resilience in this challenging period. We are returning to full activity, with a mission: to perform, to dance, to inspire and to allow respite.

We are coming to the stage of the Performing Arts Hall in Herzliya this Friday, the 24th of November with "Kumzitz", for an hour of respite, hugs and joy for our audience! Two shows: 11:00am and 13:00pm. "Kumzitz", by the choreographer Tamir Ginz: a show that is a catharsis for the period. A piece that asks to sit together. The viewers are invited to a celebration of tradition and ritual that connects us to each other and is expressed both in the national dance language and in the musical choices.

It is a time of a difficult crisis in the State of Israel, the worst this country has known in its 75 years. Following the atrocities of the Hamas attack on Israel on the Black Saturday, October 7, 2023, we were forced to a war which we did not choose, a war to defend and protect the citizens of Israel, to beat the evil terrorist organization, a fight for the free world: for democracy, humanity, for peace.

We are invited with Kumzitz for the Zakopane Festival - Zakopane, the beautiful tourist town in Poland, that this September holds an international cultural festival! "In the current crisis, as opposed to wars, we have also lost the partnership of common destiny, and we are left with the rift and division in a nation that has just been radicalized", Ginz says. 

Now when it seems so hard for everyone, everywhere... we invite you to daydream with us, in a surreal escapism adventure to the realms of optimism and hope for happiness for one hour... Ginz latest work brings the audience to tears of joy as he builds a journey of beautiful moments. 

We returned from the summer vacation for intensive rehearsals in preparation for our upcoming shows. We are waiting to share our love for dance and people on stage and in workshops, community work,  educational projects and events which are planned for the coming season.
