Almog Cohen

Almog was born in Israel, Petah Tikva, in 2005.

He began dancing at the RE-VITEL Dance Studio in Petah Tikva.

In 2023, he began his studies at “The Maslool – Professional Dance Program” at Bikurey Ha’Itim, under the direction of Niv Marinberg and Ofir Petar Dagan, and graduated in 2025.

He won first place in international competitions such as I Believe, CND, and GDO.

He was awarded scholarships for summer courses at ZHdK Zurich and at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York.

Almog was recognized as an “Outstanding Dancer” during his military service in the IDF.

Almog joined Kamea Dance Company in August 2025, as a JR dancer.

“I see Kamea as a place that combines physicality, passion, and self-expression — the very things that drive me as a dancer.

It’s important for me to be in an environment that challenges me, helps me grow professionally and artistically, and allows me to fully express myself through movement and presence.”
