Or Yam Lester

Or Yam was born in Israel in 2006.
She began her dance studies at the “Unison Academy of Dance Excellence” in Even Yehuda and continued at “DanceWorks” under the direction of Ibitza Bago and Limor Ziv.

In addition, she graduated from the dance track at Kadima high school under the direction of Arik Alfasai.

Or Yam has won top prizes in prestigious competitions, including YAGP in Europe and the finals in New York, as well as Vir2oz and GDO in Israel.

In 2023, at the YAGP competition in Barcelona, she placed third in the modern solo category and was awarded a full scholarship to the “Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive” in New York. In 2024, she was invited by YAGP to perform at the prestigious Gala at Lincoln Center in New York.

Or Yam joined Kamea as an apprentice in August 2024 and was promoted to a JR dancer in August 2025.
