Another season comes to a close, and it has been a season rich with activity and achievements despite the challenges along the way.

This season, we presented 14 works from the company’s repertoire in more than 100 performances in Israel and abroad, including a tour in Germany with Tamir Ginz’s international hit, Carmina Burana 2.0.

We were honored to receive recognition from Israel’s Ministry of Culture and Sport as a “Large Company” – a prestigious status reflecting Kamea’s growth, its success in establishing a strong presence for Israeli dance in the south of the country, and its cultural and social impact in Israel and around the world.

We premiered ERGA, Tamir Ginz’s first new full-length creation in three years. The work was brought to life through the brilliant performances of our extraordinary dancers, combining profound emotional honesty with breathtaking physical virtuosity. An integral part of this journey were our creative collaborators: original music by the gifted Beer-Sheva musician Gil Nemet, costume designer Aviad Arik Herman, set designer Adam Keller, and lighting designer Shay Yehudai.

We launched the Kamea Friends Circle, led by Sharon Ayalon. Dozens of leaders from the fields of business, culture, arts, and community joined us as supporters and partners in the company’s vision and future. We warmly invite others to become part of this growing circle as well.

As part of International Exposure 2025, a project of the Suzanne Dellal Centre in Tel Aviv, in collaboration with the Cultural Diplomacy Department of Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sport – dozens of leading artistic directors, producers, and curators from around the world visited Kamea’s home in Beer-Sheva. They toured the company’s facilities, attended an open rehearsal, and took part in an open discussion with Tamir Ginz and the dancers.

Dance schools across Israel studied Tamir Ginz’s repertoire, dozens of young dancers from the south participated in our “Kamea in the Community” project, and our adult dance community, Mid-Bar, continued to grow. Today, our activity schedule is filled with classes attended by dancers of all ages. Through our educational performances for youth as part of the national culture program, we reached audiences across the country. We hosted workshops and educational visits at the company’s home for schools and dance departments eager to experience our artistic world up close.

• The return of Tamir Ginz’s iconic work Bamidbar Devarim in a nationwide tour.
• GRAY – a new repertory evening featuring Itzik Galili’s duet Cherry Pink and a premiere of a new relevant piece GRAY by Tamir Ginz.
• Two exclusive, sold-out performances of Tamir Ginz’s masterpiece Matthäus Passion 2727 at the Herzliya Performing Arts Center.
• Dancers Create 2025 – Hope/Despair, an original evening created by the company’s dancers, offering a platform for personal artistic expression.
• Kamea HUB 2026 – Growing from Home, an evening dedicated to fostering new Israeli choreography, featuring MASA by Oren Lazovski and KuNtz by Liran Michaeli, both artists who previously developed works in our creative laboratory.
• Our successful youth productions Gleech, Dance Dance Dance, and Kumzitz toured throughout Israel as part of our commitment to cultivating the next generation of dance and culture audiences.

At our end-of-season gathering with the company staff and dancers, we proudly honored this season’s Outstanding Dancer, Lior Mark, and Promising Dancers, Martina Travi and Zlata Yakubova, recognizing their dedication, professionalism, and artistic achievements.

At the same time, we said farewell to dancers Jimin Ahn, Noa Pasman, Maor Boganim, Ariel Sherman, Joshua Dance, Jenifer Amzaleg, and Roy Twerski, as well as to our team members Oren Lazovski, Rehearsal Director, and Sharon Segal-Nir, Sales Director, who are moving on to new opportunities and the next chapters of their professional journeys. Thank you for everything you have given to Kamea. We wish you continued success wherever the path may lead.
