We are invited with Kumzitz for the Zakopane Festival – Zakopane, the beautiful tourist town in Poland, that this September holds an international cultural festival!

“In the current crisis, as opposed to wars, we have also lost the partnership of common destiny, and we are left with the rift and division in a nation that has just been radicalized”, Ginz says. 

“Kumzitz” (Yiddish = let’s sit down, German = group sitting) is a ring arena show for alternative spaces, a catharsis for the period. The viewers are invited to a celebration of tradition and ritual that connects us to each other in the Middle East which is expressed both in Ginz’s grounded dance style and in the musical choices.

Kumzitz as its name is, a work that asks to sit together, after a long period of confinement, and seeks to unite all the participants, if only for an hour, for one joy. Like in the old days…
