Haya Abayev – JR dancer

Haya Abayev was born in 2004 in Kazakhstan and made aliyah to Israel in 2010.

In 2010 she started her physical training in the field of aerobics and acrobatics. In 2011 she joined the Israeli team and from 2011-2017 she was in championships all over the world, won first places with scholarships and participated in the World Cup in Bulgaria as one of the representatives and champions of the country.

In 2017, she began her dance training at the Reut Wizzo School for the Arts, majoring in dance under the direction of Michal Berdes Hasson and Racheli Shapira. She participated in the Jeannette Ordman and Keren Sharet scholarship competitions and summer courses of the kibbutz dance Company, Bat Sheva Company and Kamea.

Haya received the status of an outstanding dancer in the IDF.

Haya joined Kamea as an apprentice in August 22 and promoted to JR dancer from August 23.

From the moment I heard about Kamea, I arrived at a summer course and entered the the building, I knew I had found a home. Not only because I am surrounded by patient, understanding and loving people, but because of the hard work that is done here and the investment in the dancers that is not taken for granted. Because I came from a sports background, I was looking for a place that would show my physical strengths and make me excited and excite the audience during my performance, would improve my technique and integrate within itself the connection between expression, physicality, and my unique movement ability. Tamir’s choreography is extraordinary compared to everything I know, and I appreciate the work he does with the dancers, I cannot be described because it is far beyond words. I am happy to be here and to be part of this amazing family. To learn and take inspiration not only from the dancers around me but also from the professional staff.”
