I have never shed a tear at a dance performance.

Until today.

Today was the world premiere of “ERGA” – a new piece by the Kamea Dance Company, led by Tamir Ginz.

I did not expect such a stirring experience.

A passionate, deeply intimate performance that, through the body, a polished aesthetic, and a soundtrack that pulses like a heartbeat, lays bare the inner recesses of the soul.

The souls of lovers, of those parting, of those aching,

and of those reuniting…

And alongside all this power – everything is embroidered with threads of gold and crimson, with elegance, gentleness, and compassion for the divided heart, which is also beautifully reflected in the stage design.

This is not only a world-class creation, but one of the most moving and breathtaking dance pieces I have ever had the privilege to witness.

The emotional purity radiating from every movement of the incredible dancers, the mesmerizing dynamics on stage, and the dramatic finale completely swept me away.

Tamir, alongside the dancers and Gil Nemet- who created music that felt like the very breath of the performance itself – succeeded in conveying the entire spectrum of emotions of one of humanity’s greatest dramas: love.

The storms of the soul and the torments of the heart…

of love, separation,

longing, and yearning.

I am still deeply moved.

Bravo!
